Founded in Brooklyn in 2009 by creative force Karazona Cinar, Organic Modernism is a mid-century inspired brand committed to sourcing and using natural materials – such as American walnut, white oak, marble and bronze – to create fresh furniture collections.
With Karazona’s global adventures, and his Kurdish heritage, the inspiration for many of the brand’s dishy designs, the company’s finished furniture products come to life through a collaboration between Karazona and his team of artisan craftsmen, engineers, carpenters and bronze forgers. The result is a range of beautiful pieces which are all distinctive and a little different from the next.
Subscribing to iconic Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer’s belief that ‘nothing is a design until ordinary people use it’, Organic Modernism is about producing striking, high-quality pieces which combine aesthetics, accessibility and affordable to elevate everyday living.
